Negotiations with politicians

Political Dialogue, initiated by politicians in the Deep South since December 2011, aims to open up a space to exchange views on Deep South problems to find common solutions. Policy proposals are made through a process of the joint dialogue between politicians from different parties.

The Deep South’s issues are not on the agenda of any political party but on the common agenda of all politicians in the Deep South. The dialogue project, therefore, provides a safe space to meet each other to reflect on problems and exchange experiences to bring issues in various areas to be resolved at the policy level. The dialogue invited participants from various political parties including academics and civil society leaders.
