Promoting peace and human rights

The promotion of peace and human rights includes a diverse program of research and academic services. These themes focus on peace-related issues that are inherent in the way of life of people in the Deep South, such as human rights, natural resources, polls, gender equality, arts, and culture, among others. Ongoing projects such as peace surveys, conflict management on natural resources and the environment, etc. Some projects may be of short duration to meet urgent needs, such as promoting informal youth occupations, managing coastal fishery conflicts, preparation of policy proposals, etc.
