We Are Hiring: Program Officer (SEA-CAF)

The Southeast Asian Coalition for Academic Freedom (SEA-CAF) is a new initiative to defend and promote academic freedom in the Southeast Asian region. Hosted by the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University, the SEA-CAF seeks to build a regional coalition of like-minded individuals and institutions and to facilitate their works to popularize principles of academic freedom, empower existing domestic initiatives, and engage in advocacy among academic institutions and national politics. The full-time Program Offi cer will play a crucial role in setting up the coalition and in implementing the SEA-CAF works. The initial project will end in December 2025.
Location: Mahidol University, Salaya Campus
Salary: From 28,000 baht/month (depending on your experience)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement project activities and support the Coalition Regional Director to ensure that program activities are implemented according to the budget and the work plans;
  • Coordinate with the Mahidol University in fi nancial request and disbursement to implement the activities;
  • Managing the Coalition’s website, social media, and online communication;
  • Prepare necessary documents, including TORs and contracts with activity implementers or contracting parties;
  • Support the Coalition Regional Director in monitoring and evaluating activities and the project achievements, and in preparing the fi nancial and narrative reports of the Coalition.
