27 September 2024 – Mr. Peter Jones, Executive Director of the Ottawa Dialogue, along with his team, visited the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP), Mahidol University. The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Suphatmet Yunyasit, a lecturer at the institute.

During the visit, discussions were held on the potential collaboration to establish a youth network for peace. The meeting, which took place in Room 119 of the IHRP, aimed to explore avenues for engaging young people in peacebuilding initiatives across the region.

In addition, Dr. Suphatmet presented the work of (Religions for Peace-Religions for Peace Interreligious Council of Thailand (RfP-IRC)), where she serves as the secretariat, to share insights and ideas for developing a robust peace network. The exchange highlighted the importance of multi-sectoral collaboration in promoting sustainable peace.
