On August 7, 2023, The Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP) as secretariat of of the ASEAN University Network-Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE), Research and Education for Peace, Universiti Sains Malaysia and SHAPE-SEA program organized the 2023 Regional Lecturer Workshop on Teaching Peace: Developing Knowledge and Skills on Peace and Transformative Peacebuilding. Assoc. Prof. Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti, Ph.D., Vice President for International Relations and Corporate Communication in her opening speech welcomed the resource persons and participants on behalf of Mahidol University. Dr. Vachararutai Boontinand, Director of the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University gave a short introduction to the ASEAN University Network – Human Rights Education. Prof Dr. Kamarulzaman Askandar, Research and Education for Peace, Universiti Sains Malaysia and the Chair of SHAPE-SEA Governing Board, shared the objectives of the workshop and introduced the program to the participants. The workshop is being held at the Ibis Bangkok Riverside Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
