Qualifications:

  1. PhD in human rights, peace studies, political sciences, social sciences, humanities or other related fields.
  2. Experience in teaching in post-graduate level academic programs in human rights, peace or related fields.
  3. Have research expertise in human rights, peace studies or related fields.
  4. Candidates with at least three years experiences in research or academic services related to human rights and/or peace studies will be given priority.
  5. Candidates with a minimum of 3 publications in TCI and/or SCOPUS in the last 5 years will be given priority.
  6. Proficient in English. Have a good command in spoken and written English, which can be declared through successful results in the following schemes
  7. IELTS (Academic Module) 6 or higher
  8. TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) 79 or higher
  9. TOEFL-ITP 550 or higher
  10. MU GRAD TEST 80 or higher
  11. MU GRAD PLUS 90 or higher
  12. CU-TEP (Internet Based) 75 or higher
  13. TU-GET (Paper Based) 550 or higher
  14. TU-GET (Computer Based) 80 or higher

Please note that the results declared must be within 2 years from the application closure date. If proof of English language proficiency is not declared, the university will not consider the submitted application.

Responsibilities and Job description:

  1. Teach at post-graduate level (Masters and PhD) in Thai and/or International Programs, and in elective graduate courses offered by the IHRP
  2. Supervise Masters and PhD thesis
  3. Perform administrative duties in post-graduate programs as needed
  4. Develop and conduct research or academic service projects on human rights and/or peace fields
  5. Actively contribute to IHRP’s missions in advancing education and research in human rights and peace 
  6. Any other assigned tasks
