On February 10, 2025, representatives from the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP), Mahidol University, met with counterparts from the Institute for Peace Studies (IPS), Prince of Songkla University, to explore potential research collaborations.
The meeting was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Padtheera Narkurairattana, Acting Deputy Director for Administration at IHRP, along with Dr. Chomkate Ngamkaiwan and Dr. Mst. Umme Habiba Fahmina Karim, lecturers at IHRP. They were welcomed by Dr. Kusuma Kuyai, Director of IPS, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Srisompob Jitpiromsri, a lecturer at IPS.
Discussions focused on strengthening academic partnerships, fostering joint research initiatives, and enhancing knowledge exchange between the two institutions in the field of peace and conflict studies.
This collaboration aims to advance research on peacebuilding and conflict resolution, contributing to academic and policy discussions in Thailand and beyond.
