On September 25-26, 2024, Dr.Vachararutai Boontinand, Director of the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP), and Dr. Bencharat Sae Chua, Deputy Director for Administration of the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP), served as speakers for training on the topic “Rights-based Research” for personnel of the National Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) and representatives from Malaysian civil society at the Ibis KLCC Hotel, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. This is part of the MOU between SUHAKAM and IHRP on Technical Skills for Human Rights Work and Emerging Issues, with the support of the European Union.
