Dr. Suphatmet Yunyasit served as the Lead Expert for the training workshop in Interreligious/Intercultural dialogue for 26 ASEAN Officials. This training workshop was the last activity of the 6-month long project jointly launched by the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation-ASEAN-IPR, based in Jakarta, Indonesia and the International Dialogue Center-KAICIID, based in Lisbon, Portugal. As the selected Lead Expert, Dr. Yunyasit had, since June 2023, led her regional expert team in the process of training curriculum drafting, class and activity planning, site-visit planning and the assessment methods selection. Apart from facilitating most training sessions, she also oversaw the execution of the overall training, the site visit to Kudi Khaow-Kudi Chin community to learn about the community’s strategies in creating peaceful coexistence amidst the religious and cultural differences of the people, and the assessment of participants’ learning and application of the knowledge and skills delivered at the workshop to their selected case studies.
