Celebrating Human Rights Month and IHRP’s 10th Anniversary

On December 22, 2021, the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University,  in partnership with SHAPE-SEA (Strengthen Human Rights and Peace Research and Education in Southeast Asia) Program, AUN-HRE (ASEAN University Network, Human Rights Education), and the Global Campus for Human Rights (Asia Pacific) organized the first ever Town Hall Colloquium on the “Assessing and Reimagining Higher Education for Democracy, Human Rights and Peace!”. This event is being organized to kick off the 10th anniversary of IHRP and to cerebrate the World Human Rights Month

This open mic event highlights and embraces critical voices of academics, students and allies from all over the world on the impacts and vital roles of tertiary academic institutions in promoting academic freedom, strengthening democracy, protecting human rights, and building peace, particularly in the Global South.
