
On July 18, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Pattheera Nak-urairat, Acting Deputy Director for Administration; Dr. Chomkate Ngamkaiwan, Lecturer at the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies; and Associate Professor Dr. Nattawut Pimpa, Assistant Dean for Sustainable Development and Chair of the Sustainability Management Program, College of Management, Mahidol University, co-organized a training session on conducting business with respect for human rights. The session included the presentation of survey findings on public perceptions of human rights-respecting business practices and a group discussion to identify challenges, obstacles, and recommendations for developing tools, mechanisms, and strategies to promote such practices.
This event was part of the Workshop on Sustainable and Rights-Respecting Business Development, organized by the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand and held at Seabed Grand Hotel in Phuket.

The workshop aimed to enhance knowledge and understanding of human rights and sustainable business practices aligned with human rights principles among entrepreneurs and representatives from government agencies, encouraging the integration of these principles into business operations and organizational management.
