
On 17 July 2025, Mr. Khosalee Awae, Research Officer at the Southern Border Peaceful Means Center, Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University, was invited to serve as the moderator for the activity entitled “Multiculturalism: From Theory to Practice – A Case Study in Education.” The event was part of a project aimed at promoting engagement among youth, families, and communities surrounding educational institutions to build a strong and sustainable multicultural society in the southern border provinces. The activity was organized by Rungrojwittaya School.
The objective of this event was to promote active participation in the development of private education within the multicultural social context, to build collaborative networks across different sectors in the area, and to provide a platform for exchanging ideas and experiences in peaceful co-existence based on mutual understanding, respect, and appreciation of diversity. The event took place at Rungrojwittaya School, Bannana Subdistrict, Chana District, Songkhla Province.
The event was filled with warmth and constructive participation. Attendees included students, teachers, and school administrators from various educational institutions, who openly shared their perspectives and suggestions. The exchange contributed to the development of shared approaches for peaceful and sustainable co-existence in a multicultural society.
