Assistant Professor Dr. Padtheera Narkurairattana, Acting Deputy-Director of Administration Participated as a Speaker in the Workshop “Mahidol Change Agent: First Cohort”

From 28 to 30 June 2025, Mahidol University organized a workshop titled “Mahidol Change Agent: First Cohort.” The event was presided over by Clinical Professor Emeritus Piyasakol Sakolsatayadorn, Chairman of the Mahidol University Council. On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Sompop Prathanturarug, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Quality Development, and Social Engagement at Mahidol University, delivered the opening report, outlining the objectives of the program.

The workshop was further honored by the presence of Clinical Professor Emeritus Udom Kachintorn, M.D., Member of the University Council and Distinguished Expert, who offered words of encouragement, and Professor Piyamitr Sritara, MD, FRCP President of Mahidol University, who delivered a keynote lecture on “Mahidol University: Leading Change to Create a Healthy Society.” The event was attended by executives from the Mahidol University central administration and its affiliated faculties and institutes, and was held at Dumnernphawa Resort, Bang Khonthi District, Samut Songkhram Province.

Assistant Professor Dr. Padtheera Narkurairattana, Acting Deputy-Director of Administration of the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, participated as a panel speaker during the Dinner Talk session titled “Energy for Change”, along with the following speakers:

  • Assoc. Prof. Surasak Kantachuvesiri, M.D., Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Chair of the Low Salt Consumption Network
  • Assoc. Prof. Adisak Plitponkarnpim, M.D., Director of the National Institute for Child and Family Development
  • Dr. Napol Anutarankul, Head of the Research and Academic Service Center, Nakhon Sawan Campus Establishment Project
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthawut Pimpa, Assistant Dean for Sustainable Development, College of Management

The Mahidol Change Agent Program is organized by the Division of Strategy and the Division of International Relations, Mahidol University, in support of Strategic Goal 3: Policy Advocacy, Leaders in Professional/Academic Services, and Excellence in Capacity Building for Sustainable Development Goals. The program aims to cultivate changemakers and change agents to serve as exemplary leaders with strong and influential leadership capabilities under the concept of sustainable development.
