Students from the APMA and MAHR programs embarked on a field trip between 14 and 19 January 2020 to learn more about development and human rights of vulnerable groups—and they had fun while studying, too. 😀 😀 😀
The students discussed with people from the Center to Protect and Rehabilitate Local Communities, Friends Without Borders, Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law, and Development, Human Rights and Development Foundation, and People Living with HIV/AIDS Network.
Special thanks go to the Lahu Indigenous Peoples and Myanmar migrant workers who chose to share their experiences with the group. Our gratitude also to Aj. Mukdawan Sakboon for providing the team an overview of Thailand’s legal framework regarding indigenous rights.
