The Ph.D.in human rights and peace studies offers an invigorate critical thinking on moral, social, political and economic issues; promote intellectual independence of the individual student, and build moral courage to reach a better understanding of our dynamic society. The curriculum, which is one of the few interdisciplinary PhDs in human rights and peace in the world, also aims to enhance the competency of the students to apply their knowledge and skills to effectively respond to regional and global challenges, and to promote peace and respect for human rights through professional service and social engagement.


Study Options

PLAN 1: Research Only

PLAN 2: Course Work & Dissertation
